Subterra is a nationally and internationally recognised innovator and developer in the field of utility pipeline rehabilitation systems. Formed in 1985, it has unrivalled experience in the successful development and implementation of industry-leading, cost-effective pipeline inspection and rehabilitation solutions. Its capability extends from the development and production of pipelining and other associated materials, through system fittings, components and ancillary installation equipment, to lining application and manipulation equipment.
Subterra is a market leader the field of Close Fit PE Structural and Semi Structural pipeline lining technology and holds several key system patents. Subterra’s Rolldown, Subline and Subcoil systems can be used for lining pipe diameters up to 1600mm, having the capability to negotiate pipeline bends of up to 22½° and can be used to install lengths of over 1 kilometre in one operation.
Subterra has been involved in the development and use of in-situ spray lining technology of pipelines since 1989 and is in the unique position of being an epoxy & PU resin formulator and manufacturer; a spray lining rig developer and constructor; as well as being a spray lining service provider. Subterra can provide a completely integrated pipeline spray lining solution, with expert resources experienced in all aspects of this technology available in house. Fast-Line Plus™ is Subterra’s new fast-setting PU resin for lining public water mains, which can be applied equally well as both a non-structural and a semi-structural coating.
Subterra also provides an innovative bespoke pipeline rehabilitation solution service for clients in the water, wastewater, gas, industrial and petrochemical sectors.
